Warranty claims, what is covered
Sep 20, 2026
Short answer: A claim covers faults that were there from the start, not wear from use. In Denmark the right to claim applies for two years from purchase, and what matters is whether the fault lies in the item itself or in how it was worn and washed.
Original defects are covered
A stitching fault, a hole from production or a colour that does not hold as promised are all defects. What they share is that they were in the item from the day it was bought, even if they only show later. This applies to everything in the women's bestsellers and the rest of the range.
Wear is not covered
Thin elbows, pilling and a faded colour after fifty washes are normal wear. It happens to all clothes that are worn and washed often, and it is not a sign of a fault. The same goes for a bamboo hoodie for women that you have worn every week for a whole season.
The receipt is the proof
Without proof of purchase, the shop cannot see when the item was bought, and the claim falls. So keep the order confirmation for your bamboo sweatwear for at least two years. A folder for orders in your inbox makes it easy to find again.
Claim and withdrawal are different
Withdrawal is when you change your mind, for example because the size or colour was wrong. A claim is when something is wrong with the item itself. Each has its own deadline and rules, so it helps to know which one you are using when you write to the shop.
How to make a claim
Write to the shop with the order number, purchase date and a photo of the fault. Describe briefly what happened and when you noticed it. Do not keep wearing the item while the case is handled, or it becomes hard to tell the original fault from later wear.
Care as instructed
The shop will often ask how the item was washed and dried. If you follow the care label, you are in the strongest position if a fault appears. If the clothes went in the tumble dryer or were washed too hot against the instructions, damage may be judged as wrong care.
What you can get
For a valid claim, the shop can repair the item, send a new one or refund the money. The choice depends on the fault and what is possible. Feel free to say what you prefer, so the shop can take it into account.
Faults that show up late
Some faults only show after a few months, such as a seam that opens or a colour that bleeds. It can still be an original defect, even if it took time to discover. The earlier in the period it happens, the easier it usually is to get accepted.
