The material in numbers

The fabric is 55 % bamboo viscose, 25 % polyester, 15 % organic cotton and 5 % elastane, where the polyester is recycled. The bamboo viscose is responsible for the softness against the skin, the cotton for the body, the polyester for the shape retention and the elastane for stretch in the ribbed cuffs. Bamboo viscose is breathable and draws moisture away, and a hoodie is precisely the garment where that property matters most. It is typically put on in the morning and not taken off again until the evening, with both outdoor cold and indoor warmth along the way. Unisex and generous in size

The hoodie is available from XS to XXL and is cut to men's measurements. It therefore runs large. Choose your usual size for the classic cut, one size down if you want a regular fit, and one up if it is to be worn oversized. Because it is unisex, it is often shared in the home, and there the wide size range is an advantage.

How the melange stays looking good

Wash inside out at 30 degrees without fabric softener, and let the hoodie dry on a hanger. Fabric softener settles like a film on the fibres and takes away precisely the dry, soft feel that bamboo otherwise gives, and the tumble dryer wears on the print. In this blend the difference is not noticeable, because the polyester sits in the outer layer of the fabric while the bamboo viscose faces the skin. So you get the shape retention from the polyester and the softness from the bamboo at the same time.
