Functional basics for women

What all the products share is high quality and functionality, which makes them firm favourites in the wardrobe. The clothes keep their shape wash after wash and are designed to be worn again and again, without compromising on either comfort or style. Here you can easily find the soft basics a well functioning wardrobe needs.

Soft bamboo fibres with many benefits

Bamboo viscose has many good qualities, which is why we have chosen to focus fully on bamboo. The fibres are longer and softer than ordinary cotton, so they feel softer against the skin and are very elastic, which lets the garment follow the body and keep its shape. The material breathes, so your skin can breathe through the fabric, and the moisture wicking properties carry moisture and sweat away to keep you fresh and dry all day. Bamboo also works against bacteria and unpleasant odours, so the clothes can be worn longer between washes. The material is gentle and allergy friendly, which makes it a good choice if your skin is sensitive.

Clothes that keep their shape

The clothes are hard wearing and keep both colour and fit wash after wash. The high elasticity of bamboo viscose means they quickly return to shape, so your favourites fit as well as the day you bought them. Wash at a low temperature, preferably 30 degrees, and avoid fabric softener, which can reduce the natural breathability of the material. That is kind to both the clothes and the environment, and it extends their life. Because bamboo works against odour, you do not need to wash the clothes as often as clothes made from other materials. Choosing quality that lasts also helps reduce unnecessary consumption.

Certified material

All our clothes are OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified, which means they are tested free from harmful substances at every stage, from the fabric itself to thread, buttons and dyes. The bamboo viscose is made in a closed loop where residues are reused, which keeps the load on nature down. At Copenhagen Bamboo we want good choices to be easy to make, so the range is carefully selected with a focus on quality and comfort.

Comfort and simplicity

Whether you are looking for practical basics or want to treat yourself to new favourites, here you will find bamboo clothing that combines simplicity and function. The colours are muted and easy to combine, and the soft, breathable material is gentle on the skin, even if your skin is sensitive.

A good choice, also as a gift

Soft bamboo basics are not only a pleasure in your own wardrobe, they also make an obvious gift. The lovely quality and the simple, neutral design make the products easy to give for any occasion. And because bamboo feels so good against the skin and is hard wearing at the same time, it is a gift that will be used again and again for a long time.
