Striped long sleeved bamboo T-shirt in rib

There are two things that set this top apart from the rest of the long sleeved ones: it is knitted in rib, and it is striped in black and white. The rib gives the fabric a clear vertical structure, which makes the top sit closer and look more deliberate than a smooth T-shirt, and the stripe is the pattern that has outlived all the others. Rib is not the same as jersey

Rib knit is knitted with alternating knit and purl stitches, so the fabric forms narrow vertical ridges. That does two things: it gives more stretch across the body, so the top follows your shape and stays in place, and it gives a surface with texture instead of a flat, smooth one. The result is a top that looks less like a basic T-shirt and more like a piece you have chosen.

A jumper for all year round

Bamboo viscose is breathable and temperature regulating, and the rib knit does not change that. In winter the top works as a thin layer under a cardigan or a coat, in spring on its own. The fabric moves moisture away from the skin, so it evaporates, and that property is what keeps it from turning clammy when you come indoors wearing a jacket.

Stripes that do not go out of fashion

Black and white in horizontal stripes is close to the only pattern that has never been out. It works with blue jeans, with black trousers and under a blazer, and it makes an otherwise simple outfit look more finished without asking anything of the rest. The fabric

The top is made of 70 % bamboo viscose, 25 % organic cotton and 5 % elastane. The bamboo viscose is smooth and cool against the skin and moves moisture away from the body, the cotton gives the fabric body, and the elastane is what pulls the rib back into shape after every stretch. The fit

The rib knit sits closer to the body than an ordinary T-shirt, and that is the intention. The sleeves end at the wrist, the neck is round and lies flat, and the top follows the body without pulling. If you want a looser drape, you can go one size up, but then the rib loses some of its effect.

The certification

The top is OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified under cert. no. BJ020 142441, so all components are tested for harmful substances.

Washing

Wash the top at 30 degrees inside out together with the rest of your dark clothes, avoid fabric softener, and let it air dry flat or on a hanger. Rib knit should not hang wet from anything that pulls it out of shape, and it should not go in the tumble dryer. All the advice is under washing and care.

If it does not fit

If the size turns out wrong, the top can be exchanged under the rules set out under returns, as long as it is unused and the labels are still attached.
