These white bamboo low cut socks are incredibly soft precisely because they are made of bamboo. The socks keep your feet fresh even on long hot days because they aremoisture wicking and breathable.

These super soft socks have a slightly shorter shaft than a regular sock, as some people prefer the sock not to go too far up the leg.
These socks can also be comfortable for some diabetics due to the slightly shorter shaft.

WASHING AND CARE

To extend the lifespan of your bamboo clothing, we recommend:

Wash at 30–40°C
Wash inside out – especially if there is print
Air dry in the shade instead of using a tumble dryer
Use detergent without strong enzymes – e.g. wool/silk detergent, preferably fragrance-free
Underwear can be washed at 60°C, but this may shorten the lifespan

DESCRIPTION

Five pairs of white low cut bamboo socks

The white sock has a completely different job from the black one. It is worn for training, with trainers and on the days when the foot should feel clean and light. On the other hand it shows everything, which is why it is worth knowing what you are buying. Here are five pairs in white with a low leg, sewn in bamboo viscose.

The sizes are 30/33, 34/39, 40/44 and 45/49, and the style is unisex.

Low leg, just above the edge of the shoe

The leg stops just above the edge of the shoe. The sock therefore does not show under your trousers, but neither does it disappear down into the shoe like a footie. There is no tight elastic around the calf, which makes a noticeable difference if you get marks in the skin from ordinary socks or have swollen legs after a long day.

How white socks stay white

The short answer is that they should be washed separately and at 40 degrees. If whites are washed together with colours, they take on a greyish tone that does not come out again. Use a detergent for whites, but go easy on chlorine bleach, as it attacks the viscose fibre and makes the sock thin before its time. Fabric softener has to be avoided completely, as it settles in the fibres and removes the moisture wicking that is the whole reason for choosing bamboo. The procedure is gathered under washing and care.

The sole goes grey from the shoe, not from the wash. If you wear them in light coloured trainers, they stay looking their best.

Why bamboo in a training sock

Moisture is the real problem in a closed shoe. Bamboo viscose moves the moisture from the skin out into the fabric, where it evaporates, instead of letting it stay between the toes. The foot feels dry for longer, and the sock dries quickly again after washing. At the same time the fibre is smooth on the surface, so it does not rub across the instep, and that is often where a cheap cotton sock gives blisters on a long walk.

The dry foot is also the reason the sock does not smell as quickly as an ordinary sock. Bacteria live on moisture, and when the fabric moves the moisture away, they have less to work with. We have written about how much of it holds true on the page is bamboo antibacterial.

Composition and certificate

75 % bamboo viscose, 23 % polyester and 2 % elastane. The polyester gives durability in the heel and the toe, and the elastane keeps the leg in place. The socks are certified to OEKO-TEX Standard 100, cert. no. 976-15301, so tested for substances harmful to health in every part. If you have questions about material or fit, the most common answers are under frequently asked questions.

Five pairs at a time

We sell the socks in multipacks because that is how they are used. Five identical pairs mean that you can put on a clean pair every day of a working week, and that you can pair them up after washing without looking. It is at the same time cheaper per pair than buying them singly.
