A colour, not a gimmick

Coloured socks fall into two kinds: the ones with patterns and motifs, which are fun for two weeks, and the muted ones, which last for years. Army green belongs to the latter. It goes with denim, with beige, with brown and with grey, and it adds a hint of colour to an otherwise dark outfit without shouting. The softness comes from bamboo

The socks are made of 75 % bamboo viscose, 23 % polyester and 2 % elastane. Bamboo viscose is a regenerated fibre with a very smooth surface, and that is what makes the sock as soft as it is. At the same time the fibre leads moisture away from the skin and out into the fabric, so the foot feels dry even after many hours in a closed shoe. Durability where it counts

The polyester is not filler. It is knitted into the heel and toe, where socks normally get holes, and it extends the life of the sock noticeably. The elastane holds the leg and the instep in place, so the sock sits as it should, even after many trips through the washing machine at 40 degrees.

Certified down to the sewing thread

The socks are OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified with certificate no. 976-15301. That means that every single component, from the army green dye to the sewing thread, has been tested for harmful substances. Size

The sizes follow your shoe size. Choose the range your normal size falls in, and choose the smaller of two if you are in doubt. The sock should fit closely from the start, because bamboo viscose gives a fraction with wear.
