Where red and blue shout sport, green and blue whisper classic instead, and that makes this model the easier of the two striped ones to wear with everyday clothes. Choose the right model in the series

The bamboo tennis sock series comes in several versions, and the difference is worth knowing. The plain ones are the anonymous work socks. The striped ones with a long rib, like this one, are the ones you show off. And if the sock should not be seen at all, the low cut models are the ones to look for instead. This model is therefore for days when the sock is part of the outfit, not just something underneath it.

A long rib that stays up

The long ribbed leg is the hallmark of this model. The rib knit grips the calf along the whole length of the leg instead of only at the edge, and that is why the sock still stands smooth and upright at the end of the day. The stripes sit at the top of the leg, where they are visible above even higher trainers.

Built for walking

The underside of the foot is woven extra thick, as on the other tennis socks in the series. That gives cushioning against hard floors, which makes the sock just as useful on a long working day as on a walk through town. The heel is shape knitted, so the sock does not wander inside the shoe.

The material

The socks are knitted from 75 % bamboo viscose, 23 % polyester and 2 % elastane. The bamboo viscose is a soft, smooth fibre that carries moisture away from the skin and out into the fabric, where it evaporates. The foot therefore stays dry and fresh, even in a closed shoe. Certification and responsibility

The socks are OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified with certificate no. 976-15301, which covers all the materials in the sock, including the colours in the stripes. Washing

Wash the socks at 40 degrees with your light laundry. The stripes are colourfast, so the white base does not take on colour. Skip the fabric softener, and let the socks air dry, that way the rib stays elastic for as long as possible.

Size

The sizes follow shoe sizes, and you simply choose the range your normal size falls into. If you are in doubt between two ranges, the smaller one is the right choice, because a long leg needs a sock that fits from the start. The span runs from 30/33 to 45/49, so the model covers children, women and men alike with the same knit and the same stripes.
