Five pairs of bamboo underpants in black, army and navy

Army is the green that looks like nothing else in the underwear drawer. Together with black and navy it makes a pack where the pairs can be told apart without any of the colours falling outside what you can wear every day. Three colours, five pairs

Black is the one that gets used most, navy works under blue, and army is the one that makes the drawer a little less dull. All three are dark and can be washed together, and because they can be told apart it is easy to keep track of what has been worn and what is clean. Five pairs cover a whole working week on one wash.

Army as a colour

Army is a muted, grey green shade, not a bright green. It is dark enough to be washed together with black and navy without the colour running, and it shows just as little wear over time as the other two. The only real difference is that the drawer becomes easier to keep track of when the pairs are not identical.

A unisex cut

The model is cut unisex, that is, not adapted to a particular gender, and therefore works as an ordinary boxer model with legs. The seams sit on the inside of the legs, where they do not rub against the thigh, and the legs are long enough to stay put instead of riding up.

The fabric

The underpants are made of 70 % bamboo viscose, 25 % organic cotton and 5 % elastane. The bamboo viscose is smooth and cool against the skin and leads moisture away from the body, so that it evaporates instead of staying in the fabric. The cotton gives body, the elastane keeps the waistband and the legs in shape wash after wash.

Where the fabric comes from

Bamboo viscose is made from the fibres of the bamboo plant, which are dissolved and spun into a soft, smooth thread. It is that process which gives the fabric the characteristic surface that sets it apart from cotton, and the whole sequence is described under how bamboo viscose is made.

The certification

The underpants are OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified under cert. no. BJ020 142441. The certificate covers the whole product, that is, the elastic and the sewing thread as well, and it is the most important label on clothing worn directly against the skin.

Washing

Wash at 40 degrees together with the rest of your dark clothes, avoid fabric softener, and let them air dry. All five pairs can go in the same machine, and the colours do not run into one another. The advice is gathered under washing and care.

Size

The model comes in sizes S to XXXL, the whole range, and is cut unisex. Choose your usual size, and go up if you are in doubt between two, so the waistband does not pinch over the hip. A pair of underpants that pinches is the pair that stays at the back of the drawer.
