The short style
The men's brief has no leg section. That means less fabric, more freedom of movement and no leg edges that can roll up or show through under close fitting trousers. The cut sits close and stays in place by itself, and that is why the style works in the heat, for training and under thin suit fabric, where long legs would otherwise be visible.
Three colours to choose between
Black goes under everything, navy works under blue jeans and dark blue trousers, and grey is the neutral one that shows the least wear over time. With one pair of each you can work out which one you reach for yourself, and all three can be washed together, because they are dark. Afterwards it is easy to order three more of exactly the colour that was used first.
Silky soft fabric
The briefs are made of 70 % bamboo viscose, 25 % organic cotton and 5 % elastane. The bamboo viscose gives the smooth, almost silky surface and moves moisture away from the skin, so it evaporates instead of staying in the fabric. The cotton gives body, the elastane keeps the close cut wash after wash.
The certification
The briefs are OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified under cert. no. BJ020 142441, which means that all the materials in the product have been tested for harmful substances. On clothes worn directly against the skin around the clock, that is the most important label to look for.
The fit of the short style
A brief without legs has to sit close in order to stay in place, and it is the elastane in the blend that takes care of that. The cut follows the body without pinching over the hip, and the waistband is wide enough to spread the pressure. If it sits correctly, nothing needs adjusting during the day, and that is the only test that counts.
Materials and production
The cotton in the blend is organically grown, and the bamboo viscose comes from bamboo that grows quickly and without irrigation. How we work with materials, suppliers and production in general you can read under CSR.
Which style suits what

Washing
Wash the briefs at 40 degrees together with the rest of your dark clothes, avoid fabric softener, and let them air dry. That way the colours last, and the elastic keeps its tension. See the rest under washing and care.
