Dark grey sweatpants: the everyday default

If you are only going to own one pair of joggers, dark grey is usually the right choice. The colour goes with everything, it shows neither dust nor small marks clearly, and it looks neither too sporty nor too dressed up. These unisex sweatpants have a zip in both side pockets and a logo on the right thigh.

The fabric in numbers

The trousers are made from 55 % bamboo viscose, 25 % polyester, 15 % organic cotton and 5 % elastane. The bamboo viscose provides the softness against the legs, the elastane the stretch, the polyester the shape retention and the cotton the body. Breathability you notice at the desk

Bamboo viscose is breathable and carries moisture away from the skin. That matters in a pair of trousers you sit down in for most of the day: the fabric does not become clammy behind the knees, and the trousers do not feel damp when you stand up. Pockets with a zip

Both side pockets can be closed. That is the most practical detail on the trousers, because it makes them usable for walking, cycling and shopping, and not only for the sofa. The phone stays where it should be, whatever you are doing.

Unisex in six sizes

The style is unisex from XS to XXL and cut to men's measurements, so it runs large. Your usual size gives a relaxed cut, one size down gives a closer fit, and many women choose the smaller one. The waistband has elastic and a drawstring, and the leg ends in a ribbed cuff.

The melange stays looking good

Wash inside out at 30 degrees without fabric softener, and let the trousers air dry. Fabric softener settles on the fibres and takes away the dry, soft feel that bamboo otherwise gives, and the tumble dryer wears down the ribbed cuff at the bottom. Why grey is often the right first choice

Black joggers show lint and dog hair clearly, and light trousers get dirty quickly. Dark grey sits in between and is therefore the colour that needs the least attention day to day. At the same time it is easy to combine: a black, white or navy top over it all work without further thought.

Built to be used every day

Because the trousers are worn often, they are also washed often, and that has been taken into account in the blend. The polyester holds the shape over the knees, the elastane keeps the ribbed cuff and waistband taut, and the bamboo viscose does not go rough from repeated washing. The trousers also dry faster than a pair in pure cotton.
