Most multipacks consist of five identical pairs. This one does not. Here you get five different socks in the same box: army green, black, navy and one pair with stripes, all with a low leg. This is the pack for you who would like something to choose between in the morning without having to buy five single pairs.

The sizes are 30/33, 34/39, 40/44 and 45/49, and the style is unisex.

The colours work together

Army green, navy and black are three colours that suit one another and that all go with jeans and with dark trousers. That is why the mix is put together this way. Army green is the one people would not have chosen themselves, and the one most end up wearing the most, because it breaks up the black without being a coloured sock. The striped pair is there for the days when the sock is allowed to show above the edge of a trainer.

Low leg

The leg stops just above the edge of the shoe, that is shorter than an ankle sock, but high enough for the heel to stay in place. There is less elastic around the leg than in an ordinary sock, and that means there is usually not the groove in the skin in the evening that a tight edge leaves behind. If you have swollen legs after a long day, or if you stand up for many hours, low cut is the model to try first.

The material

75 % bamboo viscose, 23 % polyester and 2 % elastane. Bamboo viscose is a round and smooth fibre. It does not scratch the skin, and it moves moisture away from the foot and out into the fabric, where it evaporates, instead of letting it gather in the sole. That is the reason the sock can be worn all day in a closed shoe without ending up clammy, and it is also the reason it does not smell as quickly as a cotton sock.

The polyester provides durability in the heel and the toe. The elastane holds the shape, so the sock does not bag around the ankle after the third time on the foot. The other properties of the fibre we have collected on facts about bamboo.

Certification

The socks are OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified, cert. no. 976-15301. The certificate covers every single component in the sock, that is also the dye and the sewing thread, which is worth knowing precisely in a pack with several colours. The background is under what OEKO-TEX Standard 100 means.

Washing

Wash them at 40 degrees together with the rest of your dark clothes. The colours are dark and can be washed together without bleeding onto each other. Fabric softener should be avoided, as it settles like a film in the fibres and slows down the moisture transport. See washing and care.

Size

Choose according to your normal shoe size, and take the smaller of two if you are on the borderline. Bamboo gives a little the first few times on the foot, and a sock that sits close from the start ends up fitting precisely. A sock bought one size too big, on the other hand, ends up sliding down under the heel, and that is exactly what a low leg must not do.
