Black long-sleeved bamboo T-shirt for women
The black long-sleeved top is the one that gets used the most and noticed the least. It works on its own, under a blazer, under a knitted dress and as the layer that makes a thin blouse decent. It is one of the few tops that can be worn with everything, and therefore also one of the few that gets worn out. The model is for women and comes in sizes S to XXL.
From base layer to top
In the morning it can be the layer under a jumper, in the afternoon the top on its own once the jumper comes off. Because the fabric is thin and smooth, it can do both without looking like a piece of underwear that has come out by mistake. It is the combination of thin fabric and full coverage that makes it so useful.
Fit and neckline
The top sits close without constricting, the sleeves finish at the wrist, and the neck is round and lies flat against the body. Because the fabric is thin, it does not show through anything worn over it, and that is the precondition for it working as a layer just as much as on its own.
Dry fabric stays fresh
A top worn directly against the skin all day takes on the day's moisture. The bamboo viscose leads the moisture away from the skin and out into the fabric, where it evaporates, and dry fabric stays fresh longer than damp fabric. That is why the same top can be worn two days running, where one in pure cotton would have to be washed. The background is set out under is bamboo antibacterial.
The fabric
The T-shirt is made of 70 % bamboo viscose, 25 % organic cotton and 5 % elastane. The cotton gives the fabric body, the elastane keeps the sleeves and the neckline in shape, and the bamboo viscose provides the smooth and cool feel against the skin. The blend is the same as in the rest of the basics range, so the top matches what you already own.
Black that stays black
Black clothing looks old when the colour goes and when the surface starts to pill. The smooth fibres of bamboo viscose do not fray in the same way as cotton, and therefore the top avoids the small light bobbles that make black cotton look worn after a season. Wash at 30 to 40 degrees with your dark items, without fabric softener, and let it air dry.
The certification
The T-shirt is OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified under cert. no. BJ020 142441. Every material has been tested for harmful substances, and for black clothing that is especially relevant, because dark colours need more dye than light ones. What the label means is set out under what OEKO-TEX Standard 100 means.
Washing
Wash it inside out together with the rest of your dark items, and skip the tumble dryer. The fabric dries quickly on its own, and without heat both the colour and the shape last longer. The rest is under washing and care.
Size
The model comes in sizes S to XXL and sits close without constricting. Choose your usual size as a layer, and go one up if it is going to be worn on its own with a looser drape.
The rest of the selection
