Navy blue long-sleeved bamboo T-shirt for women
Navy is the colour that turns a simple top into a choice. It is just as easy to wear as black, but it looks softer against the skin and goes better with blue jeans, which is what most people have most of. This long-sleeved T-shirt is for women and comes in sizes S to XXL.
Navy rather than black
Black is the standard, because it is what you reach for without thinking. Navy does the same job, but it is a little warmer in tone and creates less contrast against the face. With blue jeans, white trainers and a beige coat, navy is what ties things together where black would stand out.
A jumper for all year round
Bamboo viscose is both breathable and temperature regulating, and that is why the same long-sleeved top can be worn in February and in August. In winter it works as a thin layer under knitwear, where it holds the warmth without bulking. In summer it works on its own on those evenings that turn cool, without feeling too warm.
The fabric
The T-shirt is made of 70 % bamboo viscose, 25 % organic cotton and 5 % elastane. The bamboo viscose is smooth against the skin and moves moisture away from the body, so it evaporates instead of sitting in the fabric. The cotton gives the fabric body, so the top does not go limp, and the elastane keeps the sleeves and the neck in shape wash after wash. Where the fibre comes from is set out under facts about bamboo.
Sleeves and neckline
The sleeves finish at the wrist with an edge that does not constrict, and the neck is round and lies flat. Those are the two places a long-sleeved top gives way first, and where the elastane in the blend decides whether the top still looks right after a season of daily wear.
Under the jacket and under the knitwear
Because the fabric is thin and smooth, the outer layer glides over it instead of catching, and that is a noticeable difference when a jumper or a jacket has to come off and on several times a day. It is also why a long-sleeved top in bamboo works better as a mid layer than one in pure cotton.
The certification
The T-shirt is OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified under cert. no. BJ020 142441. Every component has been tested for harmful substances, sewing thread included, and that is the most important label on clothing worn directly against the skin.
Washing
Wash the top at 30 to 40 degrees together with the rest of your dark items, avoid fabric softener and let it air dry. Navy keeps its colour best without heat from the tumble dryer, and the fabric dries quickly enough that it can be washed in the evening and worn again the next day. All the advice is under washing and care.
Size
The model comes in sizes S to XXL. Choose your usual size for the close drape, or go one up if the top is mostly going to be worn on its own and looser. If you are unsure about measurements, the answers are under frequently asked questions.
