Three black bamboo hotpants
Hotpants are the longest of the brief models: a short leg that covers the whole bottom and a little of the thigh. That solves two problems at once. There is no edge that can show under close fitting clothes, and the thighs do not rub against each other under dresses and skirts. The pack contains three identical black hotpants in soft bamboo quality, for women, in sizes S to XL.
Under the dress and the skirt
This is where the model really makes sense. Under a dress or a skirt the hotpants lie like a thin layer between the thighs, and because the fabric is smooth, they stay put instead of riding up during the day. The side seams and the wide sewn on elastic in the waistband keep the shape in place, even when you walk a long way or sit down for many hours.
No edges under close fitting clothes
Because the leg is long enough to end down on the thigh instead of in the middle of the bottom, no visible edge appears under close fitting trousers and skirts. The full coverage at the back does the rest. It is the same principle as a maxi brief, just let out downwards instead of upwards, and those two models are indeed the ones that people with close fitting clothes end up having the most of.
Three identical ones in the pack
Three identical hotpants cover a normal week with one wash along the way. They can be washed together with the rest of the dark laundry and used in any order, and because they are identical, the situation never arises where exactly the right one is in the basket.
The fabric
Hotpants are made of 70 % bamboo viscose, 25 % organic cotton and 5 % elastane. The bamboo viscose is smooth and cool against the skin and moves moisture away from the body, so it evaporates in the fabric instead of staying put. Dry fabric stays fresh longer than damp fabric, and that is one of the main reasons the fibre is used for underwear. The background is set out under is bamboo antibacterial.
The certification
Hotpants are OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified under cert. no. BJ020 142441. The whole product is tested for harmful substances, including the elastic in the waistband and the sewing thread, and it is the most important label on clothing worn directly against the skin.
Black stays black
Wash them at 40 degrees together with the rest of your dark clothes, avoid fabric softener, and let them air dry. The smooth surface of bamboo viscose does not form the small light bobbles that make black cotton look worn after a season, and without heat from the tumble dryer both colour and elastic last longer. When to choose hotpants rather than an ordinary brief

Size and the rest of the set
