Brown bamboo T-shirt for women

Brown has become a basic colour on a par with black, white and grey, and that is not so strange: it is neutral enough to go with everything and warm enough to suit most people. This classic brown T-shirt is knitted in bamboo viscose with organic cotton and comes in sizes S to XXL.

The fourth basic colour

Where black gives contrast and white gives light, brown gives calm. It holds together an outfit of beige, cream and denim without stealing the picture, and it works as the soft base under the layers of autumn and winter. The fabric

The T-shirt is made of 70 % bamboo viscose, 25 % organic cotton and 5 % elastane. The bamboo viscose makes the fabric soft, smooth and cool against the skin and lets it drape heavily and neatly. At the same time the fibre draws moisture away from the skin and out into the fabric, where it evaporates, so the top feels fresh from morning to evening. The cotton gives body, the elastane holds the shape.

Fresh for longer between washes

Dry fabric is fresh fabric: when the moisture evaporates instead of staying put, bacteria find it hard to multiply, and the top stays free of odour longer than a comparable one in pure cotton. The raw material

The bamboo behind the viscose grows quickly, without irrigation and without pesticides, and the supply chain works with certified forestry. You can read what that certification covers under what is FSC. Together with the organic cotton, that gives a top where the materials have been thought through all the way.

From summer to winter

Brown changes character with the season, and that is its strength. In summer it looks warm and relaxed with white trousers, light shorts and sandals. In autumn it becomes the anchor of the wardrobe when beige, rust and olive come out. And in winter it works as the soft innermost layer under knitwear and a coat, where the smooth fabric sits comfortably without bunching. One top, four seasons, no time off on the shelf.

Washing

Wash the top inside out at 30 to 40 degrees with similar colours, avoid fabric softener, and let it air dry. Brown is forgiving in the laundry and shows neither lint nor a chalky film. The rest of the advice is under washing and care.

Size

The model comes in sizes S to XXL with a regular fit. Choose your usual size; the elastane gives freedom of movement without tightness, and a size up gives a looser, more relaxed drape. The fabric does not stretch noticeably in wear, so what fits on the first day still fits six months later.
