There is a reason bamboo viscose ends up in the suitcase of people who travel a lot. The fabric takes up almost no space, it creases less than cotton, and it dries quickly enough to be washed in a basin in the evening and worn again the next day. This pack contains two identical tan tank tops with a round neck, for women, in sizes S to XXL.

Two tops, seven days

The arithmetic on a trip is simple. Two tank tops in tan weigh and take up as much as one ordinary T-shirt, they can be worn both as a base layer and as a garment on their own, and the sand coloured shade goes with almost everything you have packed anyway. If one of them gets wet with sweat on a hot day, it hangs to dry overnight and is ready again in the morning. That is how a small suitcase becomes possible.

Dries quickly, smells less of the day

Bamboo viscose moves moisture away from the skin and out into the fabric, where it evaporates. The effect is twofold: you feel drier during the day, and the top becomes fresh again sooner, because moisture is what makes clothes seem worn. The fabric

The tank tops are made of 70 % bamboo viscose, 25 % organic cotton and 5 % elastane. The bamboo viscose provides the smoothness and the coolness against the skin, the cotton gives the fabric body so the top does not sag after a long day, and the elastane keeps the round neck and the wide straps in shape, even when the top has been packed rolled up in a bag.

Tan looks after itself

Tan is a warm neutral that demands nothing in particular either over or under it. It works on its own with shorts and light trousers, as a base layer under an open shirt, and under a thin blouse where a white top would otherwise show. When travelling, it is the kind of colour that lets the same set of clothes look different from one day to the next.

The certification

The tops are OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified under cert. no. BJ020 142441, so all components are tested for harmful substances. That applies to the whole product, not just the main fabric, and on clothing worn directly against the skin for many hours it is the label that says the most.

Washing, including in the sink

At home the tops are washed at 30 to 40 degrees without fabric softener and hung up to dry. On the move they cope with a wash by hand with a little soap, as long as they are squeezed gently and hung freely, without being wrung hard. All the advice is found under washing and care.

Size

The model comes in sizes S to XXL and sits close to the body. Choose your usual size for the smooth base layer, or go one up if the top is mostly to be worn as a loose top in the heat.
