The roll top is the detail that sets this sock apart from every other low model in the shop. Instead of a knitted elastic edge, the leg finishes in a soft, rolled edge that rests lightly against the skin without squeezing. What the roll top does

An ordinary sock edge holds on by gripping, and it is that grip that can leave red grooves on the leg at the end of the day. The roll top works differently: the small roll of fabric lies softly around the leg and holds the sock in place with friction instead of pressure. For anyone sensitive to tight edges, or simply tired of marks from elastic, it is a noticeable difference from the very first day.

Low and discreet

The leg is low and ends just above the edge of the shoe, so the sock is as good as invisible in low trainers, loafers and ballet flats. Some generally prefer the low leg because it puts the least possible pressure on the leg, but the sock is ordinary everyday clothing and not a medical product.

Softness is the whole point

The socks are knitted from 75 % bamboo viscose, 23 % polyester and 2 % elastane. The bamboo viscose is a smooth, round fibre that feels silky soft against the skin and at the same time moves moisture away from the foot and out into the fabric, where it evaporates. Certification

The socks are OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified, cert. no. BJ020 142441. Every component is tested for harmful substances, which counts for something extra in a sock chosen precisely for being kind to the skin.

Five identical pairs

Five identical black pairs keep the drawer simple: there is always a complete pair, matching them up after the wash takes no time, and the wear spreads evenly across the pack. Black also hides marks and goes with all dark shoes, so the pairs get used rather than stored away.

All year round in low shoes

The roll top model is not just a summer sock. In spring and autumn it works in trainers, in summer in loafers and low shoes without a visible sock, and in winter it works as the soft innermost layer in ankle boots, where a high sock edge would otherwise press against the shaft. Washing

Wash the socks at 40 degrees together with your dark clothes, and avoid fabric softener, which reduces the ability of the fibres to move moisture. Let them air dry, so the roll top keeps its shape. More advice is found under washing and care.

Size, and if you are in doubt

If your shoe size falls in 34/39, choose that one, and 40/44 from size 40 and up. The sock should sit close from the start, because bamboo viscose gives a little with use.
