Three cream bamboo maxi briefs with a high waist
The colour of underwear is not about the underwear. It is about what you wear on top. Under light trousers, white summer dresses and thin skirts, black shows through clearly, while a skin toned cream shade disappears. Why cream rather than white
It seems wrong until you have tried it: white underwear under white clothes shows more clearly than cream. White is lighter than most skin and therefore creates a contrast, whereas the cream shade blends in with the skin and disappears. That is the reason cream is the standard colour among people who have light clothes in the wardrobe, and it is the only colour that really solves the task.
High waist, full coverage
The model has a high waist and covers the bottom fully. That gives a smooth surface under dresses and close fitting trousers without the edges that shorter models leave in the middle of the buttock. The waistband sits high up, where there is least movement, so it neither rolls down nor cuts into the stomach during the day.
The fabric
The briefs are made of 70 % bamboo viscose, 25 % organic cotton and 5 % elastane. The bamboo viscose is smooth and cool against the skin and carries moisture away from the body, so it evaporates in the fabric rather than staying put. Tested for harmful substances
The briefs are OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified under cert. no. BJ020 142441. The whole product is tested, that is also the elastic in the waistband and the sewing thread, and on a garment worn directly against the skin at all hours of the day, that is the most important label to look for. Light underwear takes a little more
Cream shows more than black, and that is why the washing temperature matters more here. Wash the briefs at 40 degrees together with your light clothes, skip the fabric softener, and let them air dry. If light underwear is washed together with coloured items, the cream shade slowly takes on a grey tone that cannot be washed out again. The rest of the advice is found under washing and care.
Size
The model comes from S to XL and is cut to lie flat against the body. Choose your usual size, and go up if you are in doubt between two. A maxi brief should cover without being tight over the hip and the stomach, and the elastane makes sure it follows your movements without sliding.
