Three black bamboo thongs
The black thong is the one that stands ready for the clothes that cannot take edges: the close-fitting dress, the skirt in thin fabric, the trousers that sit tight. Black also makes it invisible under all the dark items the rest of the wardrobe consists of. The pack contains three identical black thongs in a soft bamboo quality, for women, in sizes S to XL.
For close-fitting clothes
There are clothes where every other brief shows up: the knitted dress, the thin skirt, the close-fitting trousers. The thong has no back panel that can create an edge, and that is why it is the style that comes out when the fabric on top is thin or tight. Under dark clothes, black is also the colour that does not shine through the way a light brief does.
Narrow elastic, flat edges
The waistband is a narrow, sewn on elastic, chosen because a wide one would show through the clothes the style is used for. The leg openings are folded over and stitched, so they lie flat against the skin without pressing a groove. The side seams keep the shape in place. Those are the three details that separate a thong you forget from one you adjust all evening.
Bamboo rather than synthetic lace
Most of the thongs on the market are sewn in synthetic fabrics, which are neither soft nor good at moving moisture. These are sewn in 70 % bamboo viscose, 25 % organic cotton and 5 % elastane, where the bamboo viscose is smooth against the skin and leads moisture away, so that it evaporates instead of staying put. That is the whole difference between a piece of underwear that gets worn and one that stays in the drawer.
The certification
The thongs are OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified under cert. no. BJ020 142441. Every component has been tested for harmful substances, including the narrow elastic and the sewing thread, and for black underwear that is extra relevant, because dark colours need more dye than light ones. Black that stays black
Wash the thongs at 40 degrees together with the rest of your dark clothes, avoid fabric softener, and let them air dry rather than tumble drying them. The elastic lasts longest without heat, and the black does not turn grey when it is not washed with lights. All the advice is under washing and care.
Three in the pack
Three identical ones is the quantity that makes a style usable in practice. If there is only one, it is usually in the laundry basket on the very day it was needed. With three there is always a clean one, and they can be washed together with the rest of the dark clothes.
