Dark green bamboo T-shirt for women
Dark green is one of those colours that makes basic clothing look like something more. The deep, bottle green tone has the effect of a jewel tone: it highlights, it gives warmth and it looks fantastic with gold jewellery, and at the same time it is almost as easy to style as black. This version is knitted in bamboo viscose with organic cotton and comes in sizes S to XXL.
The jewel tone in everyday life
Deep green tones suit most people, from light to dark skin and from blonde to dark hair, and that is why they keep appearing in party clothes. The point of this top is to move that effect into everyday life: the same depth of colour, but in a T-shirt that can go with jeans on a Tuesday. With gold earrings and dark trousers it is ready for more, and with jeans and trainers it is simply a really good everyday top.
The fabric
The T-shirt is made of 70 % bamboo viscose, 25 % organic cotton and 5 % elastane. The bamboo viscose gives the soft, smooth drape that lets the colour sit calm and matt instead of shining cheaply, and the fibre carries moisture away from the skin, so the top feels fresh through the day. The cotton gives body, the elastane holds the shape wash after wash.
Fresh for longer
Because the moisture is led out into the fabric and evaporates instead of staying put, bacteria have poor conditions, and the top stays free of odour longer than cotton. In practice that often means an extra day of wear between washes, and fewer washes is at the same time what extends the life of the colour the most. The connection is explained under is bamboo antibacterial.
Softness as a habit
The fibres of bamboo viscose are round and smooth, and it is the kind of detail you do not think about in the shop, but every day afterwards. The fabric does not scratch, does not turn rough from washing and feels cool against the skin from morning to evening. Many start with one bamboo T-shirt out of curiosity and end up replacing the whole pile, because the cotton tops suddenly feel hard in comparison.
The colour of autumn, the top of the year
Dark green peaks in the cold season, where it goes with brown, beige, grey knitwear and black outerwear, but the temperature regulation of the fabric makes the top usable all year round. On a summer evening with light trousers the deep green is in fact the most striking, precisely because everyone else is in black.
Washing
Wash the top inside out at 30 to 40 degrees together with dark clothes, avoid fabric softener, and let it air dry, so the deep colour stays saturated. The rest of the advice is set out under washing and care.
Size
The model comes in sizes S to XXL and has a regular fit with good freedom of movement from the elastane. Choose your usual size, and only go up if you want a looser drape.
Certification and more green
The T-shirt is OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified, cert. no. BJ020 142441; the certificate covers all materials including the dye, see what OEKO-TEX Standard 100 means. If you want the green line with long sleeves for the winter, they are found under long-sleeved bamboo T-shirt, and you will find the whole colour range under T-shirts for women.
