The difference between a hoodie and a sweatshirt is not the style, it is the hood, and the hood is a layer in itself. It keeps the warmth around your neck, it can be pulled up when it is windy, and it makes a set usable outdoors rather than only indoors. This black set consists of a hoodie with a logo and a pair of sweatpants, both in XS to XXL.

The hood makes the set outdoor wear

A sweatshirt is for the sofa and for a day working from home. A hoodie is also for the walk, for picking up children and for standing outside without having to find a jacket first. The hood is the most underrated piece of fabric in the wardrobe, because it removes the need for both a scarf and a hat on the days when it is not really cold enough for either.

A zip in the pockets

The sweatpants have zips in the pockets, so phone and keys stay where they should when you walk, sit down or bend over. On a set used outdoors, that is the detail that matters most in practice.

Choose a size for each piece

The top and the trousers are chosen separately, so both parts can fit. Please note that the parts run large for women, and that we recommend choosing one size smaller than normal. If you deliberately want a loose drape, you can stay with your usual size.

The fabric

The set is made of 55 % bamboo viscose, 25 % polyester, 15 % organic cotton and 5 % elastane. The bamboo viscose gives the soft inside and moves moisture away from the skin, the polyester keeps the fabric in shape, so the hood does not go limp, the cotton gives body, and the elastane makes sure you can move freely. The certification

The set is OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified under cert. no. 976-15301, so all materials have been tested for harmful substances. The sweat fabric has a different certificate number from the underwear, because it is woven in a different place.

The trousers

The sweatpants have an elasticated waist and a cut loose enough to sit in all day without pulling across the knee. The legs finish in a ribbed cuff, so the trousers stay where they are when you move instead of riding up. Together with the soft fabric, they are the kind of trousers that end up being put on as soon as the work clothes come off, even on the days when they are only worn indoors.

Two parts, many combinations

The hoodie works on its own over a T-shirt or under a jacket, and the trousers work with everything from a T-shirt to a shirt, if the day allows it. The set is bought as a set, but it is rarely used as one. That is an advantage, not a fault.

Washing
