Black bamboo tracksuit with zip hoodie and sweatpants

A hoodie with a zip can do something an ordinary hoodie cannot: it can be adjusted. Zipped up it is a warm top, half open it is a layer you can regulate, and fully open it is a light jacket over a T-shirt. This black set consists of a hoodie with a zip and a pair of sweatpants with a logo, both in XS to XXL.

The zip is the whole difference

A layer that can be opened is a layer you can stay in all day. If you get warm on the walk, you open it. If it turns cool in the evening, you close it. And the zip means the top can be taken off without going over your head, which sounds trivial until you have tried it with wet hair or after training.

For layering

The zip hoodie is the most usable of the three tops we make sets with, because it can be worn as both an outer layer and a middle layer. Over a T-shirt in summer, under a coat in winter, and on its own the rest of the year. An ordinary hoodie has to be either on or off, while this one can be half on, and that effectively makes it two garments in one.

How the sweat fabric is put together

A sweat set has to do two things at once: be soft on the inside and hold its shape on the outside. The bamboo viscose takes care of the first, the polyester of the second. Without the polyester the fabric would lose its shape after a season, and without the bamboo viscose the inside would be rough. The cotton gives the weight, the elastane the freedom of movement, and the result is a set that can be worn for many hours at a stretch without bagging at the knees and elbows.

Zips in the pockets on the trousers

The sweatpants have zips in the pockets, so keys, phone and wallet stay put when you move. On a set used outdoors as much as indoors, that is the most practical detail.

The fabric

The set is made of 55 % bamboo viscose, 25 % polyester, 15 % organic cotton and 5 % elastane. The bamboo viscose gives the soft inside, the polyester keeps the fabric stable in shape, which counts for extra on a model with a zip, where the front has to hang straight, the cotton gives body, and the elastane gives freedom of movement.

The certification

The set is OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified under cert. no. 976-15301. Every component is tested for harmful substances, including the zip and the sewing thread. What the label covers is set out under what OEKO-TEX Standard 100 means.

Size on both parts

The top and the trousers are chosen separately. The parts run large for women, and we recommend choosing one size smaller than normal. If you still get it wrong, the set can be exchanged under the rules found under returns, as long as it is unused and the labels are still attached.

Washing

Wash the set at 30 to 40 degrees inside out and with the zip closed, so it does not tear at the fabric in the machine. Avoid fabric softener, and let the set air dry. All the advice is found under washing and care.
