A sweat set that gets worn, gets worn a lot. It is not a garment that hangs waiting for the right occasion, it is the one that goes on as soon as the work clothes come off. That is why it mostly comes down to how the set holds up. This navy blue set consists of a hoodie with a logo and a pair of sweatpants, both in XS to XXL.

How sweat pieces last longest

Sweat fabric wears in three places: in the shape, in the colour and in the surface. The shape is held by the polyester in the blend, the colour is kept by washing cool and without fabric softener, and the surface is kept by washing inside out and skipping the tumble dryer. Do those three things and the set looks the same after two years, and that is the whole difference between a set that is worn out and one that is thrown out.

Navy rather than black

Black sweat is the standard, and that is also why it looks like all other black sweat. Navy does the same job, but looks a little less like sportswear and a little more like an ordinary jumper, especially on a hoodie, where the cut and the hood otherwise pull in a sporty direction. The hood as an extra layer

The hoodie has a hood, and a hood is a layer in itself. It keeps the warmth around the neck, can be pulled up when it is windy, and makes the set usable outdoors rather than only indoors. On a navy blue hoodie it also looks less sporty than on a black one.

A zip in the pockets

The sweatpants have zips in the pockets, so keys and phone stay put whatever you are doing. It is the most used detail on the set, and the one most often mentioned by those who order a second set.

The trousers

The sweatpants have an elasticated waist and a ribbed hem, so they stay where they are when you move, and the cut is loose enough to sit down in all evening without pulling across the knee. Together with the soft fabric, this is the kind of trousers that go on as soon as the work clothes come off, and which therefore have to stand up to being washed often.

The fabric

The set is made of 55 % bamboo viscose, 25 % polyester, 15 % organic cotton and 5 % elastane. The bamboo viscose gives the soft inside and moves moisture away from the skin, the cotton gives body, and the elastane makes sure the set follows the movement instead of pulling across knees and elbows.

The certification

The set is OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified under cert. no. 976-15301. All components have been tested for harmful substances.

Choose a size for each piece

Washing

Wash the set at 30 to 40 degrees inside out together with the rest of your dark clothes, avoid fabric softener, and let it air dry. All the advice is under washing and care.
