The construction is a tennis sock

The underside of the foot is knitted extra thick and cushions the pressure against hard floors, the heel is shaped in the knit, so the sock stays in place, and the seams over the toes are flat, so there is no ridge rubbing inside the shoe. The leg holds the sock securely up without squeezing the calf.

The material

The socks are knitted from 75 % bamboo viscose, 23 % polyester and 2 % elastane. The bamboo viscose is both the softness and the function: the fibre moves sweat away from the skin and out into the fabric, where it evaporates, so the foot works dry all day. Certification

The socks are OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified, cert. no. 976-15301. The certificate covers all the components of the sock, including the dyes in the green stripes and the sewing thread, so the whole sock is tested for harmful substances, not just the yarn.

Washing

Wash the socks at 40 degrees with your light clothes. The stripes are colourfast and do not run onto the white base. Avoid fabric softener, which settles in the fibres and hampers the moisture transport, and let the socks air dry, so the elastic lasts longest. More advice is found under washing and care.

Size

Choose the range your normal shoe size falls in, and the smaller of two if you are on the borderline. The sock should fit closely from the start, because bamboo viscose gives a touch with wear, and a striped sock has to sit smooth for the stripes to look crisp.
