A sock that is meant to be seen

Visible socks stopped being an accident long ago. With a mid height leg and a light, clear colour, this model is designed to show above the shoe as part of the outfit. Still a proper tennis sock

Although the colour is light, the construction is the same as on the classic tennis socks: the underside of the foot is woven extra thick and works as cushioning between foot and floor. The socks are knitted from 75 % bamboo viscose, 23 % polyester and 2 % elastane. The bamboo viscose is both the soft and the practical part of the sock: the fibre draws sweat away from the skin and out into the fabric, where it evaporates, so the foot stays dry in the heat. In summer in particular, which is where light blue belongs, that is the difference between fresh and clammy feet. The polyester reinforces the heel, the toe and the thick sole, while the elastane preserves the fit. All the properties of the fibre are gathered under benefits of bamboo viscose.

Keep the light colour light

Light blue needs a little more thought in the laundry than black and navy. Wash the socks with light clothes at 40 degrees, and leave the fabric softener alone, it does no good either to the colour or to the ability of the fibres to move moisture. Size

The size ranges follow shoe sizes. Choose the range your normal size falls into, and go for the smaller one if you are on the border. The sock should fit closely from the start, because bamboo viscose gives a little in use, and a visible sock has to sit smoothly to look right.
