Black bamboo tracksuit with sweatshirt and sweatpants

A set is not just two pieces of clothing bought at the same time. It is two parts in the same colour, the same fabric and the same wash rhythm, and that is why it ends up being put on again and again. This black set consists of a sweatshirt and a pair of sweatpants with a logo, both in soft bamboo fabric, and both parts come in sizes XS to XXL.

Choose a size for each piece

You choose the size separately for the top and for the trousers, and that is deliberate. Few people are the same size on top and below, and a set that fits in both places looks better than one where one part has been chosen out of necessity.

The set runs large

The parts run large for women, and we recommend choosing one size smaller than normal. That is not a detail to skip over: if you choose your usual size, you get a set that hangs looser than intended. A zip in the pockets

The sweatpants have zips in the pockets. It sounds like a small thing, but it is the difference between going for a walk with keys and phone in your pocket and having to keep an eye on them the whole way. On a pair of trousers used for everything from walks to travel days, it is the most used detail on the whole set.

The fabric

The set is made of 55 % bamboo viscose, 25 % polyester, 15 % organic cotton and 5 % elastane. The bamboo viscose gives the soft, smooth inside, the polyester keeps the fabric stable in shape, so knees and elbows do not go baggy, the cotton gives body, and the elastane makes sure the set follows your movement. The certification

The set is OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified under cert. no. 976-15301, which means that every component is tested for harmful substances. Note that the number is different from the one on the underwear, because the sweat fabric is woven somewhere else.

Why bamboo in sweat fabric

Ordinary sweat fabric is made of cotton, and cotton soaks up moisture and holds on to it. You do not notice it on a cold day, but you notice it as soon as you move or come indoors. The bamboo viscose in the blend moves the moisture away from the skin and out into the fabric, where it evaporates, and the inside is at the same time smoother to wear directly against the skin. That is why the set can be worn over a T-shirt or on its own without turning clammy as the afternoon goes on.

Black is the easy choice

Black shows the least wear, can be washed with the rest of your dark clothes, and the parts can be worn separately without looking like half a set. The sweatshirt works with jeans, and the trousers work with a white T-shirt. That is why the black set is usually the one that gets used the most.

Washing

Wash the set at 30 to 40 degrees inside out together with the rest of your dark clothes, avoid fabric softener, and let it air dry. Sweat fabric keeps its shape best without heat from the tumble dryer. All the advice is found under washing and care.
