There is a radical solution to messy sock drawers: throw out everything odd and start again with ten identical pairs. This pack is built for exactly that. Ten pairs of black socks in regular length, same model, same colour, same size, so every morning starts with two random socks that always match. The model is unisex and comes in sizes 30/33 to 45/49.

The reset

Most sock drawers are archaeology: layer upon layer of single pairs in almost the same black, bought over the years, where none of them match any more in thickness or length. A complete replacement with ten identical pairs removes the whole problem at once. Pairing after the wash disappears as a task, a hole never costs a whole pair, and the drawer looks tidy without anyone having done anything.

Regular length

The leg goes up over the ankle, as a classic sock should. It covers between trouser and shoe when you sit down, and the sock works in every shoe from trainers to boots. The elastic at the edge is soft and holds the sock up without squeezing, so there are no red ridges on the leg in the evening.

The material

The socks are knitted from 75 % bamboo viscose, 23 % polyester and 2 % elastane. The bamboo viscose makes the socks noticeably softer than cotton and carries sweat away from the skin and out into the fabric, where it evaporates. The feet stay dry, and the socks stay fresh, day after day. The polyester puts durability into heel and toe, and the elastane holds the shape. Certification

The socks are OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified, cert. no. BJ020 142441, so all components have been tested for harmful substances. What the label covers is under what OEKO-TEX Standard 100 means.

Made with care

Ten pairs in practice

With ten pairs in rotation, everyday life changes in small ways. The laundry can wait until the weekend without a sock crisis, the suitcase can be packed without emptying the drawer at home, and each individual pair is worn and washed roughly half as often as in a drawer with five pairs. Less wear per pair means that the pack as a whole lasts longer, and that the socks keep their softness and their shape for several seasons before the first pairs need replacing.

Washing

Ten identical black pairs are washed together at 40 degrees with the rest of your dark clothes. Avoid fabric softener, which settles in the fibres, and let the socks air dry. They dry quickly, and with ten pairs in rotation there are always dry pairs ready, however busy the week is.

Size
