Hoodie with a zip: the one you can take off without messing up your hair

The difference between a hoodie with and without a zip is small on paper and large in practice. With a zip, the jumper can be taken on and off without going over the head, it can be unzipped halfway when it gets too warm, and it works as a light outer layer instead of only as a jumper. The hoodie is made from 55 % bamboo viscose, 25 % polyester, 15 % organic cotton and 5 % elastane. The bamboo viscose gives the soft inside, the cotton body, the polyester shape retention, and the elastane keeps the ribbed edges and the front edge in place so that the zip lies straight. A layer you can regulate

Because the zip can be opened gradually, you can regulate the warmth as you go instead of having to take the whole jumper off. Together with the breathability of the bamboo viscose, this means that the hoodie works across a wide temperature range: as an outer layer on a cool summer evening and as a mid layer under a jacket in winter. Unisex from XS to XXL

The style is unisex and cut to men's measurements, so it runs large. For a classic cut, choose your usual size, many women go one down, and if the hoodie has to close over a thick jumper, you go one up. Because it has a zip, it is easier to get right than an ordinary hoodie: it does not need to be roomy enough to go over your head.

Take care of the zip in the wash

Close the zip before washing, wash inside out at 30 degrees without fabric softener, and let the hoodie dry on a hanger.
