Three navy blue long sleeved bamboo T-shirts

There is one top that carries the whole winter half of the year: the long sleeved one in thin fabric. It is a layer under knitwear, it is a top on its own indoors, and it is the one that goes on in the morning without any decision being made. This pack contains three identical navy blue long sleeved T-shirts for women in sizes S to XXL.

Why three identical ones

Something that is worn every day, you need several of. With three identical ones there is always a clean one, they can be washed together, and you do not have to think about the order. It is the same arithmetic as with underwear and socks, and it is the reason the long sleeved top is sold in packs, while the rarer tops are sold singly.

Navy all winter

Navy is dark enough to work as black and soft enough in tone not to cut against the face at the time of year when there is not much light anyway. It works under grey and beige knitwear, with blue jeans and under a dark coat, that is under exactly what the winter wardrobe consists of.

The fabric

The tops are made of 70 % bamboo viscose, 25 % organic cotton and 5 % elastane. The bamboo viscose is smooth and cool against the skin and moves moisture away from the body so that it evaporates instead of staying put. The cotton gives the fabric body, and the elastane keeps sleeves and neckline firm, so they do not go slack after a season of daily wear.

Fit and sleeves

The tops sit close without being tight, the sleeves end at the wrist with an edge that does not cut, and the neck is round and lies flat. Those are the places where a long sleeved top gives first, and they are at the same time the reason a top can either be worn as a layer or cannot.

The thin layer under the knit

Wool and thick knitwear keep you warmest with a smooth layer in between. The long sleeved top lies flat against the body, so the knitwear does not sit directly on the skin, it keeps the warmth in without adding bulk, and it takes up the moisture of the day, so the knitted jumper needs washing less often. It is the cheapest way to look after the expensive outer layer.

The certification

The tops are OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified under cert. no. BJ020 142441. All components have been tested for harmful substances, and on clothes worn directly against the skin all day, that is the most important label. What it covers is under what OEKO-TEX Standard 100 means.

Materials and production

The cotton in the blend is organically grown, and the bamboo grows quickly and without irrigation. How we work with materials, suppliers and production is described under CSR.

Washing

Wash the tops at 30 to 40 degrees together with the rest of your dark clothes, avoid fabric softener, and let them air dry. All three can go in the same machine. The advice is gathered under washing and care.
