The material

The socks are knitted from 75 % bamboo viscose, 23 % polyester and 2 % elastane. The bamboo viscose is the soft half of the story and at the same time the functional one: the fibre carries sweat away from the skin and out into the fabric, where it evaporates. Less odour in a closed shoe

Black ankle socks live their lives in trainers, and trainers are closed and warm. That is exactly where it matters that the bamboo viscose does not let the moisture build up, because it is the moisture the bacteria live on, and the bacteria that produce the odour.
